This is one of my favorite GeminiJets 1:200 models. All the Gemini 1:200s are great, but I really like all the accurate details on this one. On the front just before the door it has the star alliance logo and just behind the door is the new US Airways heritage logo featuring the old logos of America West, Allegheny, Piedmont and PSA. Along the top of the fuselage is the red taxi light that is translucent looking - it actually looks real! Also it features two fins along the top and four fins on the bottom. I'm not sure what these are for, but I just love that the model has such detail. Toward the back it says ARIZONA and has the registration number N826AW. The best part of this model is the tail though. That huge gold star and red/yellow stripes of the Arizona flag just look cool. There are countless other tiny detail prints everywhere - markings on the wings, cargo/baggage doors, even markings on the undersides of the engines. The engine fans do spin, but they are a bit tight so blowing in them won't move them. If you put a toothpick in there you can spin them though. The wheels are nice too - rubber tires and they roll. The nose gear pivots too. Unlike alot of the newer GJ 200 models, this one does not feature the removable landing gear that you can replace with the closed gear doors. You might be able to pull the gear off, but I didn't try that - don't want to risk breaking anything. Besides you would just have gaping holes there. It comes with the usual chrome stand that works nicely with the model, and when I display it on the stand, I don't mind the gear being down. I like to show off the detail of the gear, and hey, maybe the plane is landing so the gear is out for that! Overall it is an awesome model and I hope to get the rest of the US airways fleet soon.
